Moisture is absorbed and removed from chlorine gas using concentrated sulfuric acid. The processing gas volume is 1300 Nm³/h of chlorine gas. With three towers in series, moisture is removed down to 30 wtppm from a saturation point of 20°C, and the sulfuric acid concentration is 98% at the inlet and 60% at the outlet.
